A 1966 television special from Australia, featuring popular singer Tom Jones performing songs to a studio audience.  Some footage from this special also appeared in the 2 July 1966 edition of "Brian Henderson's Bandstand".  Though originally recorded on videotape, the surviving copy is a kinescope. Recorded in Melbourne (some sources incorrectly state it was recorded in Sydney), I actually checked three different old publications (The Age, Canberra Times, Australian Women's Weekly)...

A fragment from an episode of "Six O'clock Rock", consisting of the final 26 minutes of an hour-long episode. This was an Australian series aired on non-commercial television. Oddly, this is little actual rock in this episode, which is Christmas themed, with songs including an instrumental version of "Bells of St Mary's", plus vocal versions of songs like "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "Blue Christmas". Please note that my copy has too much...

Australian pop music show which aired on non-commercial television in a 45-minute time-slot. Hosted by Johnny O'Keefe, rock'n'roll singer who was popular in Australia. Most episodes of this series are lost. Warning: my copy has low resolution. I don't have a higher resolution copy. Also, the episode contains two excerpts from a copyrighted film. Also, although the show itself is public domain under 50-year copyright terms for Australian TV broadcasts, the music is still copyrighted.

The 1958 National Football League Championship Game was played on December 28, 1958 at Yankee Stadium in New York City. It was the first ever National Football League playoff game to go into sudden death overtime. The game has since become widely known as "The Greatest Game Ever Played". The game marked the beginning of the NFL's popularity surge, and eventual rise to the top of the United States sports market. A major reason was that the game was televised across the nation by NBC....

The Century's were a 60s garage band from Pennsylvania. Their 1966 song Hard Times is an uptempo garage rock n roll song that most garage music aficionados will find appealing. Video is one I created for my YouTube Channel. Don't really need a duplicate on YouTube and Facebook considering I already have this one uploaded at both places. Feel free to use it on blogs, websites etc. No credit needed. .

Except for the fact that it stars Arch Hall, Jr., who's as cute as a warthog and as convincing an actor as Tor Johnson, this is a fairly entertaining little jukebox musical. Bud Eagle comes to Hollywood from Spearfish, South Dakota, signs with a sleazy agent, and becomes a big star. There's also a cute girl who can't act a lick, and a heavy in the form of Steak, played by Cash Flagg (really Ray Dennis Steckler, who directed).
